Re: Gotta replace Transmission cooler lines is it easy?

Well everything went some what smooth. The quick disconnect tool didn’t really help becuase everything was so rusted and gummed up. The one that is on the lower passenger side was a huge pia. Not just becuase it is in a tight spot but that one was so rusted I broke off the connector. So I then had ...

Re: Gotta replace Transmission cooler lines is it easy?

I went with the sunsong ones from rockauto. If they don’t fit ineill return them. I’m only gonna have the car for about 3 more months. The. I get a company vehicle. I don’t want to take the chance on the line letting go and smoking the tranny. I’d like to sell it for something. And guesses on how ...

Gotta replace Transmission cooler lines is it easy?

One of the lines on the passenger side of the radiator on the 1998 ssei is leaking. I’ll prolly just replace both lines. Is it pretty straight forward? How much tranny fluid should I expect to loose? I did buy the handy tool to make it easier to unclup the lines.

Ok I am on my last leg with this 03 SSEi blower motor issue

I took the old one out took about 10 min super easy. Bought a used one from moradparts. It is the plastic one with the 3 holes that don't line up. So what did I try to do, modify it well that didn't work out well wasted about 3 hours and now back to square 1. Thankfully I have a company car so its ...

Re: Buzzing sound

I never hit anything with it so I guess maybe it was just the fact that it needs to be replaced from wear and tear. I am gonna get a pair of used hubs from ed morad. I got ones for the rear and they are in great shape still. Also yes it is the front, I wish it was the back ones.

Re: Buzzing sound

Well the buzzing hasn't gone away. Its gotta be a wheel bearing. Looks like a set will cost me 100 bucks. Does anyone know or have a write up on how to replace them? I find it odd that after I took it in to get the new tires on the bearing takes a crap.

Re: Buzzing sound

First time I ever heard of a cupped tire causing a buzzing noise but if the noise is gone that's all that matters.

Next time record the sound so we can better diagnose the problem.
It would be very hard for it to get picked up on a mic i bet. The buzzing is slowly going away as the wear ...

Re: Buzzing sound

Probably a wheel bearing.
Bad alignment won't cause the buzzing sound.

You won't be able to feel any play or looseness.
Well looks like it was the aligment, the front passenger was stright, but the driver side front was pointing out to the left a good amount i guess which wasn't giving the proper ...

Re: I hate people that can't drive (yea accident)

I figured about 1000 at least to get it fixed, but I don't want to have to spend the 500 bucks, i guess. I am hoping I can get a used mirror from someone and then maybe get a fender from the junk yard.

Re: I hate people that can't drive (yea accident)

$400 new, but repair shops will use used parts.

For less than $1500 I had the bumper + two mirrors resprayed and refitted, and a new fender sprayed and fitted at a GM dealer.

Re: I hate people that can't drive (yea accident)

Your $500 deductable will cover your used fender and mirror in color.
BTW -I wouldn't worry about paying for it though -in MN as long as the incident is how you told it, the lady who hit you will pay, or her insurance will. Hope you got her information to get in touch with her insurance.
