The hub should produce a small amount of AC voltage.

You should see 850-1350 Ohms of resistance across the hub sensor. If you spin it by hand, you should see ~100 mV of AC voltage, higher if you use a power tool.

Yay! Now you don't need to crush it! How much more did you tighten it?

99% sure you'll end up with a wiring issue, not a hub replacement. If you already replaced the hub, then it is definitely a wiring issue. If the terminals of the connector look good, then start back-tracing the wiring into the engine harness and see if you can find any nicks or cuts or places where...

Get your codes scanned before even thinking about trying to guess what is going on.

I've given up on low coolant messages on my GXP's. I just splice the wires together any bypass the sensor.

I agree that you probably have more rot than you think if the shock towers are that bad.

If you put the bracket in a vice and then put an angular pressure on the mount and use an impact on the nut, it might break free. Otherwise you will have to cut it.

Support the engine/trans with a jack and remove the 3-15mm studs and remove the bracket from the car so you can work on the bench. You might end up just having to cut it off.

I don't know if you were planning on buying a new one, but I have an oil pump here from a motor with 162k that skipped time.

I wish I had some more helpful advice, but I don't. All I can tell you is I looked in the oil cap of my GXP while it was running and oil was splashing everywhere. I've had several Northstars apart, did a head stud kit on one, and timing guides and tensioners on another. I did no oil pump priming and...

I've removed hundreds of these, just grab the wiper end of the arm and push down and pull up several times, it will pop right off.

Subframes can be had for $40-75 all day long in my area, and chances are that comes with the bushings. Check www.car-part.com

$500 labor? are you taking it to the dealer? I could would a subframe swap in a couple hours @ $60/hr. No way should this take 8 hours by a professional.

Here is my build: http://www.pontiacbonnevilleclub.com/forum/performance-brainstorming/topic28945.html As long as you have the complete SSEi parts car, you should be good. You'll need to swap literally everything from the donor cars engine bay. I did have to do some changes to the wiring to get the ...
