The 4t65e just can't handle being behind the 5.3. They are an extremely common failure point.

According to interchange, it has to be from another 2005 GP GXP. I'm not sure what the actual differences are between the years, likely electronic differences.

If the switch is disconnected or faulty the HUD will not display. Try replacing the switch

The HUD unit has full time power from the IP fuse #30 in the under-seat fuse box and ignition power from the IGN 3 RR fuse #34 in the under-seat fuse box. Those are the first things you should check. It gets its ground from G201 (passenger side door sill area). As long as you have the switch connect...

Home Built Coilovers - this is not for the average DIYer 4. Afttemarket Coilovers - this is expensive and...

The manual climate control option used just a resistor, the electronic climate control uses a module. Here is the interchange. They are about $140 new on RockAuto

Those Dorman repair kits are very difficult to install. The directions say to "warm up the line with boiling water"....yeah that doesn't work. I use some homemade tools to be able to "press" them on. The LinesToGo kits are great, I've installed many of them: https://www.linestogo...

2 years later, you're still working on this?! :P

I haven't seen the actual application of the 97 style hub, but I'm guessing they use that head style for a reason. A regular bolt head might not clear.

Probably a faulty photoelectric cell in the Twilight Sentinel system. It's located on the defroster grill.

Easiest upgrade is the 04-05 Bonneville GXP dual piston calipers. You'd need the calipers, brackets, hoses, bolts (yes different) rotors and pads.

Nothing off the shelf. You can probably have them made locally for around $100-150.
