Re: Suggestions for sloppy Buick Suspension?

Also, for those that don't know...FE1 isn't one standard by company, its by marque. FE1 in a LeSabre isn't FE1 in a Bonneville. If you were to compare them relatively...Pontiac FE1 would be Buick's F41, and Buick's F41 ends up being about Pontiac's FE1.5. At least, that's what I've gotten from my ...

Re: Cooling

Then leave Freddy. Nobody is forcing you to stay at this "joke" site. /rant

This isnt the only site im on. This is just the only site that has issues with meaningful discussions towards the topic and not at the person posting it.

The limiting factor on street cars is getting enough oxidizer ...

Re: Cooling

Along with that, I seriously doubt any of the cars here are going to see noticeable gains from icing over the fuel. There are just too many other factors to consider about where power is being used to gain power from cooling the fuel.

The turbocharger would never have been invented if someone ...

Re: Cooling

That would mean having to run the AC full time. Who in the hell runs AC at the track, while ON THE TRACK?
Well if you run the A/C while your in line and let the accumulator get cold it will still cool your fuel even with the A/C off. If you like using your A/C during the summer when its ...

Re: My Suspension build!

I wanna run it at a couple road courses when all said and done. And I do quite a few 100+ stops. I dont plan on ever getting rid of the car. Its got a priceless sentimental value as its the First car I bought. KBB lists it at $1200 in excellent condition. The turbo, by itself, that I will be putting ...

Re: My Suspension build!

Actually the 14" rotor will weigh 19lbs flat. The stock ZO6 rotor weighs like 27lbs. Plus I am going from steel spindles to Aluminum ones. The Eibach or SSC drop springs from the looks of it will probably weigh less than the stock F41 springs I have now. I don't know if the 6 pot Z06 Calipers are ...

Re: Hunter GSP 9700 analyzer

I used a Road Force Balancer once when I was helping out at one of the other Just Tires. I almost broke my hand I also wasnt using the runout measuring thing right. Most shops wont use them because they are too time consuming and time is money.

Re: Suggestions for sloppy Buick Suspension?

Get the Addco front endlink kit 015 it is FAR better than the Energy Suspension endlinks. $15.98 shipped to your door.

Also go out and get a 21mm rear sway bar. That will help alot too. FE2 Springs will help too. KYB GR-2s are a ...

Update 10-10-09

I put the Addco front endlink kit on today. OMG it is a big difference over the energy suspension bushings. I had to use some of the old energy suspension washers to get the endlinks tight because the bolt ran out of theads. I cranked down on it with my electric impact so the ...

You dont have to do an Ice box though there are other ways to get the fuel cold. There is actually a very good summer setup using the accumulator from the A/C.

haha yea sorry forgot your north of the border. yea realistically its not worth it on a street car but if you got the spare time and money its not going to hurt or take too long to make.
