Re: Ebay Supercharger

@myfirstbonnie

The second one I didnt disassemble all the way just took the snout off and pulled out the rotor packs to examine them before I installed it. Felt the bad bearing then but thought I was trippin. Its currently on the car without the S/C belt attached. The original I hacked up pretty ...

Re: Ebay Supercharger

You can do it yourself.....

From our very own Willwren
http://www.3800supercharger.net/

#-o No info on rebuilding rotor packs. The snout is simple. I have seen someone else that rebuilt the rotor packs but it looks quite involved.

I'm not sure if he has any, but harofreak00 sells his S/C's ...

Re: Ebay Supercharger

Snout bearings and rotor bearings I believe. I bought one off of ebay before that was used. Got played as the bearings were bad in that one as well. I have the worst luck with junkyard crap and have learned its better to go new with most wear items. So now I have two worthless S/C's. I disassembled ...

All those are good but Check the supercharger. Trust me its worth taking the belt off and turning it by hand. If it doesnt turn smoothly the bearings are going out. Unless you like driving with a bird screaming for their life under the hood.

Ebay Supercharger

Has anyone had any experience with one their rebuilt superchargers? I hope I don't get in trouble for this link but its just for reference. It looks like it may be one of those Cardone rebuilt superchargers

Re: Seized Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Bolt

Thanks! I got it off eventually. I always tend to forget that paitence is key when using PB Blaster. It works wonders. Stumbled into a brake job too. I refuse to put back on crappy stuff. So it'l be up in the air for two days. :bwoohoo:

Seized Rear Brake Caliper Bracket Bolt

:bsflag: I have to change my rear wheel bearings to pass inspection. I can't get the caliper bracket bolt loose. I have tried a breaker bar. Banged it with a mini sledge hammer and nothing but an almost stripped bolt and a busted 15mm socket. I know if I strip it. The whole control arm is going to ...

Re: NEW Bonneville issues??

Problem 1: Might be a problem with the neutral safety switch. Its a $30 part. IT tells the ECU when the car is in Park and it will release the key. Part is made by BWD the part number is S26065 . Might be worth a shot.

Problem 2: This can be caused by the Body Control Module. In the front. This ...

Re: Abs Module Replacement

I am not a hundred percent sure. But I know on my S-10 you have to have a scanner to properly bleed the brake module. I bleed them the normal way and the ABS locked up every time you hit the brakes. Quite scary. I am cheap so I just took the fuse out for the ABS put black tape over the light and ...

Re: Wheel bearing hub replacement

It's easy to install. You can turn the wheel to help you get to all of the bolts on the back side. I have done it 4 times in the past 2 months. Tried to be cheap and bought used hubs. Ended up changing everything to National bearings. Don't buy the cheapo hubs. Also if you don't have a breaker bar ...
