Driver vents blowing hot Passenger vents blowing cool
Like the subject says. The left side is blowing hot on defrost, the floor and vents while the right side works with the temp dial normally. It does the same while the AC is on as well.

Temp Gauge Hot then Normal
So this started happening last summer. On warmer days in the 70's or warmer the temp gauge would sometimes run high almost to the red for about 5 minutes then drop to normal operating temp. It would stay normal the entire time driving. Keep in mind it was not all the time. The car seem to run fine ...

Re: Cabin Fan Issues
I do have the auto climate control. It doesn't seem normal when it's 20 degrees out and the fan doesn't come on during a 30 minute drive.

Cabin Fan Issues
Seems like 25 percent of the time I start the car the interior fan will not run. Then as I'm driving it will randomly turn on. Once the fan is running it will stay on and work fine. It only does this when the car is started. It never shuts off when running unless you turn it off manually. It will ...

Crazy Temp Gauge
Weird problem here. Driving on the highway today the temp gauge pushed over 200 a bit. After a few minutes it settled into it's normal position. Came to a stop at the store and it rose above 200 a little bit more but did not go any higher. I let it idle for awhile to see it would raise any higher ...

Dead Oil Pressure Gauge
My 04' GXP with 122,000 miles on it just had the oil pressure gauge go. On startup all the gauges cycle then go to their usual spots. The oil pressure gauge just sits at zero. I recently had the oil changed about 100 miles ago and the oil pressure switch replaced at 120,000 miles. The car seems to ...

Oil Pressure Sending Unit
I saw an earlier topic of someone having the exact same problem as I'm having with my oil pressure bumping from zero to normal back to zero randomly. I'm assuming it's the sending unit. My question is where the heck is it located and how much is the unit. I also have noticed a small amount of oil ...

Re: Overheating!!!
Wow. I'm basically having the exact same problem as you are right now. It's at my mechanic as we speak and he's checking on some things, but his first call was leaning towards a head gasket.

Erratic climate control
The climate control on the GXP is running a little wierd lately. The fan seems to go from on to off to high setting to low setting randomly. Sometimes I have to turn the climate control on and off 6 or more times just to get the fan to come back on. In the summer time the AC would turn on and off ...

Re: Rear End Vibration
Had the wheels road forced balanced today. Some weight had to be added to the rear wheels. The diagnostic said that the wheels were pretty close to perfect but slightly off. Took the car out on the highway and it's about 75 percent better. Just a slight vibration shows up around 65-70 then ...

Re: Rear End Vibration
Took the car to ther tire shop and rebalanced everything. Before I left the mechanic noticed that my aftermarket rims needed hubcentric rings. He said he was positive my vibration problem was due to that. It still vibrated around 60mph on the way home. ???

Rear End Vibration
I know I've seen posts on shimmy issues at 65 mph, but I've picked up a rear end vibration after putting on a set of brand new Goodyer Eagle GT's and also a 4 wheel alignment. All bearings are fine as well. Could the rear wheels be out of balance? It only occurs around 60-65 mph.

Erratic Heat
The GXP seems to warm up perfectly, but after about a half an hour of driving it will start to feel cool in the car. The engine temp guage reads normal and I usually have the auto climate set on manual at 90 degrees. It actually cycles from warm to cool and back to warm. I've never had it do this ...
