Re: Interior light troubleshooting
I bought a new relay at AutoZone and it took them a while to find one too. Went out, pulled relay so they could get the GM number on relay and then they finally found one.

Re: Interior light troubleshooting
Thanks. A previous owner had an auto-mate remote start system installed, but it was not working. I had it fixed (bad remote, replaced driver's door wires), but hasn't solved my interior light issue. Please post any updates if you get yours working.

Re: Interior light troubleshooting
After removing the 4 or 5 screws for the visor, is there a pigtail up in the headliner to disconnect the electrical?

Ok, thanks.00Beast wrote:Doesn't have to come out. Generally the wiring is bad inside the visor, not under the headliner.

I assume the headliner has to come out for this?Archon wrote:One thing that has often caused the interior light fuse to blow has been a short in the wiring for one of the visors.

Re: Interior light troubleshooting
Hi,
My interior lights fuse (#27) keeps blowing in my 2003 SSEi. Did you have any luck finding out what is causing your problem?
Thanks.

Re: AC
Fyi - I ended up replacing the compressor, orifice tube, and accumulator and the air is doing good now.
Couple of shops wanted $650 to $750. I was able to do it much cheaper than that
Thanks for ideas.

2003 SSEi on autox course
Did about 6 autox runs this past weekend. It's a yearly event that I usually have my '84 Z28 for, but since I didn't have it fixed I took the Bonneville out a few times.

Just working on this again since getting warmer. I put some dye in the system and stopped by a shop and they said the leak was at the compressor line.
I just checked the pressure in the system and it was 35psi. Still cold on passenger's side and slightly cool on driver's side. What psi does the ...

Yes, it's street legal. It handles very well. Don't have a g-meter on the car like my Dad's Corvette though;-)
Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks. That is at Lucas Oil Raceway Park (where they hold the NHRA Nationals). We also have Putnam Park just 45 minutes away that is even better.

Re: 2003 SSEi owner from Indy area
Do tell Beast. I assumed it was because he just had the intake manifolds leaking and didn't fix it for about 500 miles and it got antifreeze in the oil?
It came with the 3.5 pulley, but I also have the stock pulley.
I just swapped bottom end from a similar mileage car. No new bearings or piston ...
