Re: 05 gxp headlights.
I picked up some ebay headlights. The fit for the aftermarket headlights will be the same, but they will not be "smoked" as mentioned. The designation of "Non-GXP" is also to tell you that you won't get the GXP's 9011 high beam bulbs, but the 9005 highs instead. The smoke makes no difference to me ...

Re: Purchasing a GXP
Off the top of my head...check motor mounts. Check oil cooler lines behind engine for leaks. Any sounds or vibrations at highway speeds, or while turning or braking? Any clunks in the steering?

Re: replacing fog lights
It is helpful to put your cell phone down there to take a picture of it so that you know what you're looking at. Don't take the bumper off. You have to release the metal clip from the hook on the back of the foglight and then swing it out. If for some reason you really get stuck, you could remove ...

Re: Lets talk GXP brakes -- and brakes in general.
I am no expert but a few days ago I installed a pair of R1 Concepts slotted/crossdrilled premium rotors and Posi-Quiet ceramic pads. Pics below. They look and stop very well. The center portion of the rotor comes painted black so it should hold up well against rust. I like ceramics over the stock ...
