There are a few different ways to go with the UIM. The cheapest/easiest is to fill the water jackets on the failed unit with JB Weld. I ran one like that for years. The revised aftermarket UIM kit options all have skinnier stove pipes to make sure the UIM plastic doesn't melt to the ...
