After 25 years of ownership, I reached 200,000 miles today. As I have said in my previous posts, my '01 Bonneville SLE has been very reliable for me. This site has been very quiet lately. How are the other owners of Bonnevilles doing with their cars? Are you still enjoying them racking up the miles?

I just got 190,000 miles today. It is still a reliable car for me.

Mine was rusted out. New cradle installed.

I got a new cradle installed a couple of months ago on my Bonneville. My mechanic described the issue the same way you did. I live in the Chicago area, and rust is a killer here.

Good for you, BattleFX. Keep it going. I'm wondering how the other Bonneville owners are doing on mileage? Not many posts here. I'm at 163,000 now, and I have a long way to go for 200,000 on my 2001. I am the original owner.

I've had my '01 since new. I have been easy on the transmission all along, and I've been changing the trans fluid every 30,000 miles. However, I don't have a trans cooler or the shift kit. Hopefully I'll get many more miles.

Well, my transmission just went out at 158,600 miles, and I got a reman transmission. The rest of the car is running well. Hopefully my Bonneville will get me a lot more miles.
