Re: no power with rotten egg smell and coding p0300
I tested the coil packs tonight. One pack has no fire at all. One pack has a lot of fire, and one pack has a lot of fire on one wire and not as much on the other. Hopefully, replacing them will correct the problem?

no power with rotten egg smell and coding p0300
Hi,
Today, from out of no warnings, my car started idling really bad and now it doesn't have much power  it also smells like rotten eggs. From what I have read, it almost sounds like the catallactic converter is bad. If so, what is the factory warrany on them and what causes them to go bad?
I ...

coolant leak
my dad's 98 olds keeps losing anti freeze. he had the intake done about 30k ago. the exhaust burns clean and no visible leaks. i have read in the forum that it could be a radiator cap or the elbow leaking. today, he said it was missing some but the last time that happened, it needed an oil change ...

Re: Battery
I see I can get it in on-line at at Advance for $137 and then they will give you $20 off if you order over $100, plus they will give you a $50 coupon towards a future purchase of $100 or more. That will bring my cost to $I17. I guess I willl go that route and use the $50 coupon to purchase one for ...

Battery
Found out after leaving the lights on for twenty minutes, its time for a new battery.
I see they are averaging around $140 plus
Whats with the cost being so high? The last time I purchased a battery for other cars, it was well under $100.

Re: torque wheel nuts
i took the car for a drive and it handles really well. after i replaced the front rotors two weeks ago, the front wheels felt as if they had a slight wobble. i use a cross bar to tighten the lug nuts, probably too tight. after torquing them to specs, it feels as if that took care of the problem ...
