Re: Stalling when fuel below 1/4 tank
Hi Larry, when driveability issues arise from consistant conditions( ie: low fuel level ) I would test the vehicle in question for fuel pressure and condition, pressure test is made at the rail tap before regulator, condition would be looking for air bubbles in the return line coming off the ...

Re: weird transmission question
Other(more probable) possibilities are:
1, Broken 1-2 accumulator spring.
2, Worn accumulator piston/seals or guide shaft is leaking apply pressure.
good luck,
Kevin.

Re: Stalling when fuel below 1/4 tank
I'll kick in a few possibilities for stumbling with 1/4 tank and less, especially when making a right turn,
I have seen many a fuel sending unit read incorrectly when on lower levels, some were wrong from the factory and previous owner never let it go below a quarter tank, but was always amazed how ...

Re: Tranny Acting Weird
Also check for CEL codes, transmission shift logic relies mainly on speed(VSS) throttle input(TPS) and engine load(MAF), any can cause intermittant problem and may or may not blow a code, especially the TPS and MAF, good luck.

Re: How to test EGR?
I can offer "AllData" information to members, it's about as thurough as info can get unless access to factory manuals are available, also..previous poster is absolutely correct that having codes "pulled" is essential to laying out the roadmap for repair, many local parts stores can do this for you ...

Re: 93 bonneville maybe rough/low idle?
Mass air sensor? if you can figure out whether it is a random missfire affecting all cylinders intermittently or if it's a dead miss on a single cyl would help to narrow down the possibilities. good luck.
