Re: Replacing motor mounts
Yes. There still is a little movement and slightly rough shifting. I replaced the right side mount this week. I didn't realize that the engine hangs off the 2 side mounts. It helped a little more. I will replace the lesft side trans mount next week then the rear center trans mount. I suspect the ...

Re: Replacing motor mounts
While the new trans mount made a big difference, it still feels a little "soft" compared to 4 years ago when the car had 45000 miles. Now it has 102000 and I just think that after 15 years the mounts probably should be replaced.

A/C problem Cold on Driver side Hot on Passenger
I"ve read a number of posts about the dual zone A/C problems but they all seem to have the opposite problem I have. Can anyone point me to a solution for my situation and which actuatore controls the passenger side?

Replacing motor mounts
Hi All. I just replaced the front left Trans mount on my 2001 Bonnie because it was trashed and the engine was bouncing around. Luckily that is the easy one. Now I am planning on replacing the other 3 mounts. My question is can I do them one at a time or should I do all at the same time. And is ...

2001 Bonnie radiator leak from fitting
Hi all. I noticed that there seems to be a fitting below the filler neck on the front of the tank of my radiator and water is pouring through it. Was there a plug in there? Possibly the temp sensor? I can't see anything that looks like it belonged in there

Upper trans cooler line leaking at fitting
Hi all. I just replaced the radiator in my 2001 Bonnie and now the upper cooler line is pissing trans fluid at the fitting. It's a quick connect fitting with a spring clip in the fitting and a conical taper on the line with a yellow O ring looking thing behind the taper. I am wondering if there is ...

radiator part number for 2001 Bonnie SLE?
Hi all. It looks like I have a leak in the right front of my Bonnie. I suspect a radiator tank. While looking for replacements, they ask if it has a low coolant light. I have never seen that light on my IP. Do I have one? Also want to make sure that it's a one row. TIA

question about Stainless braided brake lines
Hi all. I was looking for a pre made set of braided lines for my 2001 Bonnie. Russell has a part no. 692220 that says it fits the Impala and the Grand Prix but no mention of the Bonneville. Does anyone know if there is a difference? Isn't the Impala basically the same chassis? TIA

Any Stainless braided brake lines for Bonniville?
Hi all. Just wondered if any one makes a kit for 2001 Bonnie. Is the kit for the Impala the same one? Saw a kit for Grand Prix but not sure if it's the same. Can anyone help?

Re: New Philips HIR2 low beams vs stock Sylvania
Yes. I bought mine from Amazon, Best price I could find. They do have an infrared coating hence the HIR in the designation, And they are standard 55 watt bulbs. Next I am going to disable the DRL so they will last a little longer.

I am trying to add some r134a to my 2001 bonnie. Both of the caps are on what looks like the high pressure side. Only one fits ( the one c;loser to the firewall) but I'm still wondering if there is another valve somewhere else on the low pressure hose. Can anyone help?

2001 Bonnie SLE What is leather and what is vinyl?
Hi all. Recently got a 2001 Bonnie and wanted to verify that the only real leather is the seat faces. Looks to me that evrything else is vinyl. The only question I have is the steering wheel. How do you detail it without making it slippery?
TIA
