Nice. I've driven two VW's that I can remember.
'66 Beetle (uncles).. 3" widened fenders, 7" steel camaro wheels (15's i think), 33 ford teardrop tails.
Other was.. 02 Beetle TURBO S.
I'm thinking about taking a look at those GTI's , but I'd want one in white with those big wheels.. the 18's or ...

Re: The New Impala SS
BE-AUTIFUL!
I've driven two SS' (one white, one black, both SS.) and I loved em. Also tried out a GP GXP.
The SS is a beautiful car and the ride quality and handling is amazing. The torque steer also isn't as bad as you'd think it'd be.
LOVE IT!

Re: Updated pics of the "Bird"
Nice shape pretty much for year/model, considering how the others out there look.
Junkyard fender/whatever other parts, few hundred bucks and two or three days of work and it'll look times better.
I've always wanted to own one of those.

Nice.. but you never called to stop by! haha
I'm sure you were strapped for time, just let me know when you'll be in the area next.

Plastic...but strong. From a mid 1980`s Trans Am. Their place was on the nose. These are rotated 90 degrees. Sanded, spot putty, primed, painted to code...3 coats of compatable clear. wilwren has done a great write-up at our old house...but we can`t link you....so you`ll have to search for it there ...

Re: clay bar
as 95SLE said, the actual bar.
the liquid clay bar is nothing but a marketing ploy and a big joke.
No pain, no gain (to the "it's easier/less work")
It makes the little bit of sweat expelled worth it by far when you're finished and you take a look as that paint pops out at you in the sun.

What's up with that car? I was gonna ask when I first saw it when I signed up in March of '06, but I never got to asking.
Either way, that is a BEAUTY.
