My boost control solenoid flagged a code, tested the resistance of the coil and it is open. How long can I drive with the vac hose plugged off to give full boost? I will be getting a new solenoid next week, but until then.

A couple of things to add;

First off this is the best time to change the brake fluid since it is contaminated. Just look at the color, probably not clear like it is supposed to be. Changing the fluid has a couple of methods, if you are unsure how, please post and ask.
