i have power to all my connectors
amd i have about 12 oz of pressure

anything else i can doo

btw its my second
compressor

I HAVENT GOTTEN THE HARNESS but... is there away around the pcm or is that the only way to go

i guess im looking for dos and donta and where to get good parts and rebuild kits

ok guys i currently have a bonneville se. i am buing the l67 engine this weekend used do that i can rebuild it to be a good engine. has anyone done or know alot about this engine.

any imput and ideas would be helpful

check your lower control arm bushings if there is and sign of sliding have some one whatch it while u coast and step on the breaks!

also are then the original ones

yes the factory doesnt use them but if you pull it off you have to put them on now!!

ok i must say i just had the same problem by any chance did you take a look at you lower control arm bushings?

did you use rtv gasket if so you have to change it again cause rtv eats rubber

you will need the inner tie rod tool you cannot get a wrench in there.

autozone rents the tool for 50 bucks and you will need to mark every thing and need an alignment
it is not hard to do

why do you ask the same quetions in different threads its quite annoying


anything is possible but not worth the work a seris 1 2 or 3 engine and trans are not inter change able plain and simple

a series 1 engine will only fit a series 1 trans series 2 will only fit series 2 and so on and so ...

make sure you check all the lines one leak could stop the flow of air

i have a 92 bonneville se and i need to know what trans i have cause i need to buy a transmission modulator

that was a problem for me i found that the fuel pump was going i would look into changinf it if pressure and filters are good

there are quite a few possibilities of what it could be. like was said before check the fuel pressre and filter.

could also be a bad coil sometimes

sounds exactly like what I've been having. Entire *dang* front end is new (struts, strut mounts, brake calipers, tie rod ends, ball joints, outer sway links, CV shafts), and the subframe mounts and lower control arm bushings are solid with NO play. ALL mounts are solid, rear trans mount was checked ...

Just repaired a similar problem on a 97 Bonne. Check the rear subframe mounts, especially the forward most rear one. You may find that they have rusted out and are allowing the subframe to shift.
