Re: Remove stove pipe without removing LIM?
Yeah and I lied it was dark it's just a slight oil residue wasn't pooled up . My LIM was done carefully and has no leaks it was the uim leaking. I am replacing my UIM and cracked egr tube, ATP UIM . Broke an injector clip off . I'll probably just zip tie that

Remove stove pipe without removing LIM?
I had a cracked egr tube with a sizable vaccume leak so I was going to replace that noticed a tiny bit of coolant around the egr tube bolt . Once I got the Throttle body off I saw that ther was like a build up of melted plastic from the UIM around the stove pipe edges .
Did I mention I did the UIM ...

Re: Was drinking antifreeze now won't start. Help
Right on I pushed all the vacation lines and checked a few things seems to be resolved now.
Now the cooling fans are constantly running though from when I start the car until I turn it off. It's 32 out lol.
The temp gauge is working though so I'm guessing it's not the coolant temp sensor under ...

Re: Was drinking antifreeze now won't start. Help
Finally got to pulling the plugs and cranking the engine. It cranked. When I pulled plugs coolant dripped out of cylinder 6 and dumped out of 1 . Turned on camera and recorded and when I cranked coolant sprayed everywhere from cylinder 1 mostly.

Re: Was drinking antifreeze now won't start. Help
+1 on checking the battery for a charge. Anytime I do LIM gaskets, I usually pull the plugs and roll the engine over a few times just to make sure no coolant spilled down into the intake ports during the job. It's not too difficult to do, and for the added safety of not bending a rod if it really ...

Re: Was drinking antifreeze now won't start. Help
To rule out that it isn't hydrolocked, you can pull all of the spark plugs out and turn the engine over by hand a few times (or someone can crank it in the car, but any coolant will spray out that's in the cylinders). Usually if it is hydrolocked, the starter will click since it can't overcome the ...

Got it put back together and went to start it and when I turn the key the lights dim it clicks but won't crank. Any ideas? Really frustrating, tried jumping it and I couldn't get jumper cables to spark when they touch the terminals , but the car lights come on so idk.
