I unplugged the MAF and it's somewhat better, but not all the way. It does start, but needs several revolutions to fire. I did notice before I unplugged the MAF, that if I turned the ignition on and wait about 30-45 seconds before cranking, that the engine turns over faster and starts quicker too ...

No codes are showing with a code checker. I have noticed that sometimes the security warning light is on ...
