Are the Delphi and ACDelco ICMs the same?

Re: How to replace ECM
What makes aftermarket ICMs so bad? Also, if the Delphi and ACDelco are the same ICM like most ACDelco and Delphi products, then I don't think the ICM is the issue. It was running a Delphi ICM until it started misfiring again. I picked up a brand that I can't recall the name of from O'Reillys (it ...

Re: How to replace ECM
Why would the dealership's diagnostic tests say that the ECM is bad then if it's actually the ICM?

How to replace ECM
Hi guys. A few months ago, I posted about my 2000 SLE misfiring. After replacing the catalytic converter, plugs, wires, and ignition coils, I finally narrowed it down to the ICM, which solved my problems. Or so I thought. It worked fine for a few months until the light came back on. It wasn't ...

Re: Back left window stuck down
Thanks for the help guys. I was driving and I tried using the driver controls and miraculously, the window went back up. I'll try to keep it up to prevent it from being stuck down. Is it still something I should concern myself with?

Re: Back left window stuck down
It appears that the only thing holding it in place is the rail on the side of the window closest to the front of the car. Is it possible that the railing locked up? It's not supposed to rain here until Thursday which gives me a good amount of time to get the window back up, but I'd like to get it ...

Re: Back left window stuck down
I pulled back the plastic and tried pushing up. It wouldn't budge. I tried unbolting window from the regulator (the one 10mm bolt), but it's not moving. Something on the other side is getting in the way

Re: Back left window stuck down
I've already tried pulling up on the window. I actually have the door panel off now because I tried going in there yesterday to see if I could get it to stay up but my idea was unbolting it from whatever the motor uses to raise or lower the window, but I couldn't figure out what to unbolt. It won't ...

Is there a way to get it back up until I can get a new regulator?

Re: Back left window stuck down
Yes, I can hear a clicking sound coming from the motor in the back window.

Back left window stuck down
Hi all, my brother borrowed my 2000 SLE last night and neglected to tell me that that the back left window won't go up. What solutions should I be considering aside from replacing the power window motor?

Re: P0300
I just borrowed my uncle's spark tester and it shows no spark to the 2 or 5 cylinders.

Re: P0300
After cleaning the ICM harness, it's still misfiring. I listened to the injectors again and confirmed that they are operating, but when I unplug the injectors for the 2 and 5 cylinders, I hear no RPM change. Should I replace the ICM?

Re: P0300
I pulled fuel injector wires to narrow down which cylinders are misfiring and found that it's cylinders 2 and 5. They run off the same ignition coil and despite replacing all of the coils, I swapped them around to see if one of the new ones were defective, but it was still just the 2 and 5 cylinders ...

Re: P0300
I replaced the IAC and I'm still getting misfires. I also cleaned the MAF sensor, still no improvement. So far I've replaced the catalytic converter, the spark plugs, the plug wires, the ignition coils, and the IAC. No dice.

Re: P0300
I tested for vacuum leaks with carb cleaner and I couldn't find any. I'm going to let the engine cool down before I test the IAC.

Re: P0300
The MAF was cleaned a few months ago. Air and fuel filters both have less than 5,000 miles on them. Where's the ICM and IAC?
