It's been a while since I've updated this...
Few things I've done.
-19" Rotiform IND wheels
-MPS Stage 2 tune
-3" catless downpipe to 2.5" piping back to dual mufflers
-Wrapped Satin white with Raail Halo dip
-Aero rear valance with dual exhaust cutouts (finally no more fart cannon)

Grand Prix 40th anniv. L67swap and P1810 code.
Hey all, figured I'd try and help me buddy out who I've been helping swap an L67 into his 40th GP. If you guys saw my last post we were having wiring issues and had to bypass the starter. Well turns out he followed the wiring of the starter from the junkyard and ya know connected a 12v power to a ...

Need advice for brake caliper issue.
Hey all, been a while since I've posted on here but I'm having issues with the calipers on the Saab. I had warped rotors and after examining my old calipers I decided to replace them. I bought new rotors, new pads, new pad retaining clips, new brake hoses and remaned calipers. Now I have a new issue ...

Motor swappin' and fryin' PCM's
Hey all, me and my buddy have (slowly) been transforming his 40th Anniv. GP. His stock N/A motor seized up and so he decided to swap it with an L67. Ported and polished SC, headers to full exhaust, smaller pulley, etc. Finally we got to the point where everything is plugged in (except one evap ...

Re: MurderMitten's SAAB 9-3
They were replaced when the car was lowered. It was a brake rattle, caliper bracket bolt head snapped off and the caliper bracket was rattling. Caught it before it caused any major damage.

Thanks for all the complements :D
Found another issue today. Only driver's window and lock works. Looks like I'll be pulling the driver seat out and splicing in some wire this weekend. :woowoo:
*dang* sunroof leaking is already haunting me!

Re: MurderMitten's SAAB 9-3
Man.... this thing looks great. Always liked the Saab's but the questions about reliability kept me away from them. How is yours holding up?
Hey thanks man. In all honesty its not that bad. I got the car with almost 200k on it so of course it was due for some maintenance. Some of it necessary ...

Re: My 2001 SSEi
I went to a fabric store and purchased material that was almost an exact match for my sunroof shade. Quite easy to fix with 3M general 45 spray adhesive. Another option over paint is to vinyl wrap them. make use of the search function here. Those pieces do pop out easily. Start at the rear of trim ...

Re: MurderMitten's SAAB 9-3
I forget to mention I have a 3 inch catless wrapped downpipe on the way in November. Followed by a res delete to dual mufflers. After that I'll do intake mods and in the spring is when the tune will happen.

Re: The New Saab (Spring Cleaning Edition)
So I did a few things... Bought an Aero front lip and Aero side skirts, all I'm missing is the Aero rear lip with dual exhaust cutouts. I also swapped out my front calipers from an 07 Aero and refinished them.

Re: The New Saab (Spring Cleaning Edition)
Sort of embarrassing.. my brake caliper bracket somehow got loose. Don't know how I swear out of the four bolts it takes to do brakes I would have remembered to tighten all of them but oh well... its gone now. Also big things are coming, long story short this linear is about to turn into an aero ...

Yes I too might want to come as well and see if a tech II can be hooked up to my SAAB as well. I'm assuming this is on the east side of the state. I'm 2.5-3 hours from Detroit

Re: The New Saab (Spring Cleaning Edition)
Thanks guys! I've been loving the car for the most part, we have some battles tho. I've been getting this nasty nasty clunk from my front end. With almost everything being replaced or tested and being solid I cannot figure out what it is. Sounds like spring slap because my coil springs sit almost on ...

Compressor and air tank in the trunk, airlines ran to all wheels. I believe you can buy universal bags you'll need to custom make mounting plates tho.
