I am ashamed to say what it was, it was a plug wire. I just assumed that it was not a wire because it just acted up only when I put in drive. I could put it in park and the motor would run fine. Therefore, I thought for sure it was the transmission, which has 152k on it. O well lesson learn..However ...

I really don't know. My scanner want work on the 1994 model..Would the coil just act up under a load. I can run the engine in park and it runs fine. Put it in gear and drive it starts jerking ,I speed up sometimes starts running better, I slow down around 2000 Rpms starts jerking??
