After I put the adjustable modulator on the car <tightened half turn> I got great, solid shifts. A little rough under some conditions, but good none the less. Lately I have noticed, that the shifting, for lack of a better term, seems to be a little, off. Not quite as firm as it was before, and there was once when I went for the down shift at about 25, it seemed like the power wasn't quite there right away, there was a slight delay. I have noticed though that I can feel TCC lockup lately too. Also, sometimes the shifts don't quite feel as precise as they once were. I also have noticed possibly some movement under the hood when I jump on it, but you cant tell unless you are looking for it, so I could be feeling it because I want to feel it. When I test drove the car originally, it had a bad transmission mount, and that was obvious. So, it is possible a mount is going again, or should I start saving peanuts now, and getting friendly with my local transmission shop?

Hard to say... And they like to eat the front trans mount and rear engine/trans mount..

Have someone put the car in reverse with the left foot on the brake( praking brake set too ) and goose the throttle a little and see if the power steering pump just about hits the Bar...

For the front trans mount have the person do the same thing in drive... Look at the front trans mount and see if its torn or has excessive movement..

And how can you tell if the torque axis mount is going out?

Look down at it when you friend hits the throttle. If the metal of the engine side mount nearly contacts with the metal of the body side..it's a sign that the mount is bad. Or if the mount appears to be in poor shape overall.
