Picked up a tow dolly and off I went. Here's what came home.

Doing a double take yet? So are my neighbors.. I had a white one, had a green one both of which have been sold in the last couple months.

"One little" (white), "two little" (green), "three little Regals" (blue), "four little WTF  " (black)

I'm still tired and haven't gone over them well yet. Know almost nothing about the pair.

Blue: No windows work, all regulators seem fubared, dash peeling, dirty is an understatement, evap and misfire codes, TC and ABS lit up, pass seat torn

Black: Saw this car a couple weeks back. Nice shape, pretty clean, brake pedal hits the floor. It did start and drive onto the car dolly. Ebrake works. :Thumbs Battery is holding a charge, only the temp gauge is backwards or shorted, trans line has a leak and the oil sender is shot

Not bad!

What do you plan to do for the dash, anything?

Nice! That blue one is trashed! Dang.

How much did you pay for each of 'em?

How the hell do you f*ck a car up that bad inside? I have noticed on a lot of GS's for sale that the leather is torn. Is it just real thin or what?

The leather in our GS is just fine....with 125K. I think it's just careless owners.

My first and second Regals has perfect leather at 180K and 160K. The leather seems like it was the owner on the the blue one. Overall the blue looks like a large scratch, overall runs good and can run better. With some basic work and about $200 this car will turn right around and easily sell for $1500.

The black one has a few needs as well like a transmission line and maybe a cluster. Not sure if it's leaving or staying at this point. At the moment, I think it's going to be the winter beater. It had a DOA battery and I tossed the one from my truck into it to load it up on the trailer, no way were we trying to push it.

This weekend I'll hit up the JY and hopefully pick up two front sway bars, two HUDs, the two seat covers and maybe a dash panel. That shiny dash will be a challenge. I don't think SEM makes the rubber like coating. Maybe it'll get redone with a different look, who knows at this point. :)

Total invested in the two cars is $1100, not a bad price for two running L67/4T65HD combos that could be used as dropouts.

Wow, funny thing about regals. Everyone of those that I've seen around here are pretty trashed just like those. What is it with the Regal that attracts these horrible people?

Anyways, hope you can flip 'em! What happened to the white one you had? Do you still have it?

Haro..the complete across the dash panel? Hmmm

Ryan.. Some weeks Craigslist is full of cheap fix'm ups and some weeks it's dry. Keep your eyes open and you can find some great deals.

Peter.. White is long gone, green is gone but still in town. Heck..greenie liked it's new owner so much it blew up in the first five minutes of ownership. It was towed back to my place the next day and after work I motor swapped it and resold it to the same guy. Afterall..a motor swap only takes 5-8 hours. This round is blue and black, I joke about picking up a bruise or two that day. :)

Uh, no.. if I get it and put it on a GS which is what the car is..then what do you call that? I'd call it the same car. :???:

I was referring to the new dash label saying "GSE" opposed to "GS" (what is currently on the car).

Next higher trim package. But, just like with the Bonnevilles, there's a ton of overlap.

At minimum, from what I understand, the GSE has moonroof, CD, ECC, dual power seats. My GS has all that, but is still considered a GS... :???:

The only thing ive seen different between the GSE and the GS, is the GSE has a different suspension than the GS, the GSE comes stock with front and rear swaybars, and the trim package is different on the GSE. I believe the same goes with the LS compared to the LSE.

Interesting. I asked this direct question on regalgs.org and the only responses I got were summed up with my previous post...

Good to know, nonetheless!
