I've done this in my Japanese car and it helped tremendously, but since the battery in the GXP is in the trunk, I wanted to find out if anyone's been able to do this? What you basically do is get some thick multi strand insulated 0-4ga audio wire, cut it into various lengths, and crimp and heatgun connector loops to both ends. Then you re-ground everything that needs power. There's 3 usually that give the most obvious results, such as less power surges and lights dimming (1) Battery negative to chassis (2) Alternator to battery positive (3) Engine Block to chassis But I've managed to ground even more in my old car. Basically anything that already has been grounded, can be grounded with thicker gauge wire and to a better location. Also if of you are trying to run the alt to the bat +, it's usually recommended to run an in-line fuse capable of withstanding the voltage. You can get some nifty ones with a volt meter installed but that's probably useless since the panel cluster already has a volt meter.
