I just bought this kit car. The previous owner installed a 96 SC w/L67 complete with harness and PCM. I have the entire engine harness with the bulkhead and nearly all of the cabin harness, starter relay and fuse boxes. I am trying to figure out the wiring to get this car started, and eventually get gauges working. :dontknow:
I have the Chilton and Haynes manuals which are essentially useless. I just downloaded the GM Techline which I have not looked at yet. I was hoping to put together a stand alone harness. I've seen several listed on sites for Fiero's but the wiring is made to connect this engine to a Fiero not create a stand alone.
If anyone has anything they can share on the bulk head wiring I would be grateful, also any potential pitfalls :bwoohoo: . I have a fuel cell but need to get a pump that matches this engine, air intake, trans cooling lines, shifter linkage. Lots of little things still.
Car weights 1900 lbs. should be quite fast with the Pontiac Bonneville SSEI v6 in it.

That engine/trans/pcm combo is a 1 year only. It was the only year the Series 2 L67 came with a 4t60-hd. (4t60s have vacuum modulated line pressure vs the 65's pwm modulated) I think the 96 4t60 torque converter lock up logics were different than the 4t65 as well. 96 was a transition year in many ways.

If you're only trying to get what you have running and not tune it, a '96 factory service manual is the way to go. It looks like there's one on ebay right now.

For tuning solutions with your 96 pcm your best bet is to contact www.gmtuners.com.

A standalone would probably be easy to get the engine running but I'm not so sure on a fully functional trans.
