It appears that the "fuel pump control module" was only used on the 2000 Bonnevilles. I found the schematic for the 2002 models posted and it sure enough showed no "fuel pump control module" in the fuel pump circuit: the fuel pump motor is connected directly to the B+ relay feed output and ground. When I suspected that my module was bad, I jumpered my fuel pump relay B+ output around the control module and it ran fine. Putting the control module in the circuit causes hard starting and running. So I question: do I REALLY need that control module??? Or can I just bypass it - would it hurt anything to just bypass it? BTW, both the 2000 and the 2002 Bonnevilles use the SAME fuel pump.
