Thought I would post what I failed to see to correct my random misfire.
I thought I had checked everything listed to correct P0300. It came down to a small crack in one of the ignition coils. Felt really dumb not seeing the crack and not checking the OHM test of each coil. I only used a ignition spark light tester and thought all the coils were good.
Maybe this will help others.

Thanks for posting your experience in this matter.

Always a good place to start with misfires or chugging/sputtering issues: check over the whole ignition system.

Coils are on the lower left. It also shows which coils are associated with what cylinder.
