One of the biggest tells is the ribs around the body of the sc. If they extend to the base it's a 92/93. If they are shorter and blend into the body before reaching the base, it's a 94/95. The reason is the newer sc got epoxy coated rotors to make it more efficient, so it could be run slower and didn't need as much cooling from the ribs.

Smaller pulleys, bigger injectors, nos, etc, all gonna need ecm mods to work properly.
How do you guys do it?

I've got a chip, along with a combo of things, seen in my signature. A tune would help a lot, I think. The chip does ok, but I've changed so much that it can't be ideal. Rockers, pulley, sc, tb, maf, injectors, etc.

Mass air flow sensor... They had one from a non s/c 3.8 in there and it was telling the computer that the engine was under too much load and dumping boost. I had to fix all other problems to get the ecm to a point where it would give me correct info then i was hot on the trail. Still has a bit of a miss but i think its a week injector on #5.. next year.. Shes working great
