......Hello everyone!.....I would like to know about engine swaps.....SE...SEL....SSEI....I have a nice 2003 SE that just overheated, and thought to possibly use a wrecked 2002 SSEI engine/trans swap.....will they interchange? .....Thanks in advance for any help ~ Linda

They probably will interchange, but there could be some logistics that get in the way from a clean swap

You will need the computer from the SSEi and the wire harness as well. May even go as far as neededing all of the computers from the SSEi. I cant remember when they started programming them to the car and if they dont all match it wont run

Thanks, it seems to be a good idea anyways ... I really liked my 2003 SLE, and thought it might be a good time to use a wrecked 2002 SSEI I have had since last year.....I think the gearing would be different between the SE, SEL and SSEI, and that alone would have to be taken into consideration, thanks for your help :-)
