I'm wanting to manually put power to the blower fan just long enough to see if the fan is operational.

I found some wiring information online and want to confirm if anyone can verify this is correct.

3 wire connector (black, purple, brown). If I jumper 12v to purple and ground black it should turn on.

Additional question is should I have ACC on or IG on or both off and key out of the ignition when doing this check?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

You should have the ignition on when doing the test. Once you give it juice, you should be able to control it with the climate control unit.

Does your SE have the auto climate?

Some things to try as well... Tap on the blower fan and it might come back on briefly and weakly. If this is the case, or if speed bumps have a way of turning the fan on and off, the brushes in the fan have worn, and replacement is required. The TYC replacement on Amazon or RockAuto is a good middle of the road option. The cheapest ones tend to be noisy.
