Hello all. I'm a Pontiac lover so here I am. Looking to buy a 2001 Bonneville se, around 100k miles. What things should I make sure are checked at the place I take it for inspection?

With experience with the Bonnevilles of that generation, I think you'd be better off buying something else Pontiac. I love my car, but there's a lot of stupid repairs that could come up. I'd check the areas where rust can occur with these cars (gas cap area, "hood herpes", anything with the undercarriage); make sure there isn't an interior water leak; make sure the brake lines and fuel lines aren't corroded away. this bonnie has actually close to 90k, not 100. Also, it is 1 owner, older man. garaged. seller wants 2800, im thinking 2100?

Also looking at a 2005 grand prix, had tranny replaced at 30k, water pump replaced twice, always garaged, 1 owner. 118k miles...seller asking 3500. what should i offer?
