My '95 SE has the standard manual climate controls and the AC works great when in normal 'AC' mode, but when I put it on 'MAX', the blower seems to be blowing harder, but less air seems to be coming out of the vents. The net result is the car stays noticeably cooler when it's in 'AC' mode. I understand that 'MAX' puts the system in recirculating mode, cooling and re-cooling interior air, but in every other GM car I've owned, the seems to increase somewhat in 'MAX' mode, so I'm assuming some internal vent doors aren't functioning properly.

Any insights?
