So I have twins now! Ill let the pics speak for themselves.
The two old girls!
Rear End
Beauty (1994 Grand Cherokee Limited)
& the Beast (1993 Grand Cherokee Limited)
I got Beauty at the end of July and have been slowing fixing stuff. I tried a Haro cleaning (I'm sure it wasn't as good as Haro can do) but I'm happy with it. The interior is real nice. I got her for $450 and I've spent $400 for oil change, tranny, struts for back hatch, 14 quarts of tranny fluid (don't ask), tranny filter, and some other odds and ends. She runs and drives good and just needs the fender and tires and rims off the Beast
The Beast I just picked up last night. It was kind of dark so I didn't see all her flaws but overall she is in pretty good shape. I paid $490 for her (yeah I probably overpaid but I wanted it)
she is going to be the parts donor for the other one. Then I will be stripping her down completely. I contacted someone off craigslist and was told I could get $200 for the stripped down shell whereas the junkyard would give me $250 if I can drive it in. Front headlight and both rear tail lights are busted. Scuff on the rear bumper cover. And a ROD KNOCK. The guy says he drove it for 2 weeks 80 miles a day with the knock and now just wanted it gone cuz they got a new one. And I drove it another 40 miles to get her home. She was pounding above 1,000 rpms. But below 1,000 you wouldnt even now she had a knock when driving.
I'll post up some more pics after I scrub them both up.
What do you think?
