Is there any FWD manual transmissions that would bolt up to my s2 l67.. i was thinkin maybe from a 3.4 dohc but i dont know if it will bolt up.. i dont mind doing a little modifying to make things work.. just want to know if theres anything that would fit?

Getrag 282 (5 speed)
Getrag 284 (Same as abovebut slightly stronger case)
F40 (6 speed found in G6's and Saabs)

roughly how much modifying would i be lookin at for the getrag 284 not a big deal just wondering what is needed before i consider starting..?

not sure what all you would need mount wise. I believe they will have to be custom made.

I'm working on retrofitting an F40 and L67 into my Reatta...haven't made progress lately (distractions). Engine cradle has to be modified because the F40 is lower than a 4T60. Except for the front engine mount you'll have to make your own (welding involved). Cut up the center console, hole in the firewall for the clutch pedal/master cylinder assembly...it's a big mess...I can get my photos back online if you wanna see.

SPEC has a custom clutch setup already using an F-body flywheel (3800/RWD/manual). CV shafts can be fabricated by a local shop
