Using Gary's guide.

My MAF was probably way tpo high (due to not understand narrowband vs wideband tuning) so I'm lowering it close to stock in the 8000hz+ range, plus Gary even says to not touch anything above 8999hz. So to get the O2's back into the 930-940 range I've been adding -0.1 to the 2400rpm+ range of the AFR vs RPM vs TIME table. This seems to be the best way to tune without a wideband.

My concern is that my injectors are pretty much maxed and I'm out of ideas. I believe by lowering the MAF I'll get some more headroom in the AFR vs RPM vs TIME catagory, therefore getting the O2's in check. Anyone else have advice at this point?

Usually, but I'm anywhere from 22.2 to 23.x at WOT.

Kyle,
You are calling out a section in the tuner.. AFR vs RPM vs TIME table
What is the actual path to this catagory?
is it in fuel control? or airflow?

If your IPW's are higher than you think they should be, chances are you are running richer than commanded AFR. Only real way to know is a wideband.

Tuning WOT AFR via Narrowband O2's == pure guesswork.

Engine -> Fuel Control -> Power Enrich -> Add vs. RPM

And if I'm running a possibly richer AFR than commanded, what can I try to lean it out a bit?

Either increase the PE AFR or keep tweaking the MAF table like you're doing...thing is, it's all guesswork without a wideband, and you certainly don't want to over-lean it out.

I guess what I'm saying is that your next investment should be a wideband.

Question: have you checked your fuel pressure? Low fuel pressure can make your IPW's higher-than expected, also...

I did when idle using a pressure gauge. I'll have to dig up the pics I took of my readings. What is normal?
