Good day EVERYBODY!!!

I`m from Moscow, Russia. And I need YOUR help and ALL information about swapping L27 to Series II L67 Supercharged M90 together with 4T65E.
I have Pontiac Transsport 93, 3.8. Because of some reason I decide to install on my car another engine.
Nobody in Moscow can help me with info or with experience of fulfilling such type of work. So I hope that you can help me with detail instruction about swap work (eng+trans+wire+brake+probably chip).
At the same time I`ll be VERY pleased if you could give additional information:
-How much this eng plus trans cost US (in good condition)?
-What do you recommend to install /change at the same time with changing engine?
-Does anubody know the company who could make any offers concerning exterior tuning for PTS?

Looking forward for your replay and BIG thank in advance,

Andy

Dobro požalovat!

While I am not too familiar with the Transports (we nicknamed them "dustbusters" here in the states), I can tell you mechanically the swap should be relatively straight-forward. Wiring in the new computer will be a chore but completely doable.

Here is a link to techinfo on my writeup on wiring the PCM. It's not quite complete, but you will get the basics of what is involved... viewtopic.php?f=44&t=756&p=5161#p5161

One of our members has a Transport as well, and he should be happy to help you with mechanical questions. When you state "exterior tuning", do you mean suspension, or do you mean stuff like rims, paint, lighting, etc.?

Again, welcome to the club!

:hail: Thnks for replay sandrock ;-)

It will be VERY super!! if this member ".. has a Transport" join us and give his comments about this stuff.

Concerning exterior I mean "stuff like rims, paint, lighting, etc." and yes of course wing on both side of the car :) because I thing it’ll very necessary if I swap engine successfully

I have the 3800 1995 Pontiac Transport... It still has the 3800 engine in it, with 1.8 Roller Rockers, Ported Lower Intake... The trans is a rebuilt 4T60-E with a 3.33 HD Diff with a drive and driven of 37/33 to make the overall gear ratio 2.97 using a stock 1897 Stall converter...

I have dropped 2 transmissions in this thing and an considering an engine swap in the future.. Not sure as of yet..

Its been a work in progress for a long time..

I think you will be able to do the swap, but you'll need to know what length axles you'll need, as well as the output shaft spline count and the spline count at the Hub assembly...

Then you may consider doing an OBD2 Swap to the newer PCM to control the Engine and Trans...

Not sure how much help we can be, but we will try...

Also there may be a Swapped Dustbuster on L67 Swap... Might be worth a look..

THNKsss Jr's3800 to join us!!

Could you clarify some thing to me if it's possible in detail:
What is "1.8 Roller Rockers, Ported Lower Intake"
And what is this "...3.33 HD Diff with a drive and driven of 37/33 to make the overall gear ratio 2.97 using a stock 1897 Stall converter..."
From whom could I take (car) " .. Newer PCM" to work with L67+4T65E"

and the last one what does’ it means "Swapped Dustbuster on L67 Swap"

I'm sorry to make such questions but i'm a little beat noob in swaping ;)
