It's an 03 as my profile states. However, i have a 5th generation sc from a grand Prix gtp(stock pulley). Engine was machine shop rebuilt and is type 2. It has the 1 inch throttle separator and have blocked the throttle coolant orifices.

The coil packs are blue on the bottom. What heat range should i use and how many steps colder is okay before being dangerous? NGK's okay to run? And what about wires?

I have been out of touch for a while.

From what I gather, you wouldn't want to go much more than 1 heat range colder. Lots of folks have run NGKs over the years.
