Year and Trim: 2003 Bonneville SSEi
My 2003 Bonneville SSEi w 43,000 miles had a problem with the driver side power window. Sat in parking garage for 2 days, temp dropped to -10. When paying for parking, i lowered the window (no problem), now it only raises about 2 inches. Appears to be a mechanical issue ( I suspect the regulator), however, with the window only raising 2 inches, removal of regulator would seem to be a serious challenge. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!!

This is either a weak motor or a regulator cable tangled. Are you able to get the glass back up by having someone run the switch while you pull up the glass? If so, weak motor. Or is the glass not moving in either direction? If so, bad regulator. I have good used parts available if you need anything for your Bonneville. PM me or email andrew.suderman@gmail.com

I've had to replace 2 assemblies (for both back doors, of course), but still, it isn't that hard of a job to do yourself. Just be careful when taking off the door panel. You don't want to mess up your window switches.

Thanks folks...
It appears a plastic part in the cable assembly broke in the cold. Its preventing the window from going up. Andrew, not sure if its tangled, that's today's project...May have to cut the cable...unless there are other suggestions...
