Well when I bought the car the strut bushings were all but disintegrated and I could grab the tire with my hand and watch the strut move back and forth on each side. Me being a cheap bastard I decided to make better ones (I hope) so I grabbed some skateboard wheels with a mildly soft duro, Ran a bolt through them and chucked them centered to a lathe. A few minutes with a sharp blade and I got them to a proper taper. They went in pretty easily after I bought a new belt for my compressor. Those strut nuts were not coming off with hand tools lol. I planned to make metal spacers to keep them centered on the strut but as luck would have it the I.D. of the wheels matched the strut rod perfectly. So far it's much better compared to with no bushings, but I haven't had a proper comparison to stock rubber. I figure there's no way it can be worse than stock though. Here's the finished product. It's a cheap easy way to repair or possibly upgrade. Plus skate wheels come in pretty colors. #nomorecambergang
