Here's an idea I was thinking about, I was pondering on taking the front disc brakes off my 2001 SE, calipers, rotors, everything, and putting it on the back of my 2002 SSEi is this possible? The idea is that have more braking power.

The fronts do 90% of the braking, if you want to increase the bite, get some f-bodies or GXPs for the front.

With my winter set up I can't go any bigger in the front. I use the 16 inch stars.

If you can't go bigger, you are stuck. You can't put the fronts in the rear either, completely different setup.

Will GXP rotors/calipers fit under SLE 17's?

Yes, it's tight though.

This information makes me think they will:

EDIT: This is only for the front, not the back. No reason I know of to go for bigger in the back. - BC
