I am looking for anyway to firm up my stock suspension on my 2001 Bonneville SSEI

Does anyone know of Strut braces, Sway Bars, End links, the whole works that are able to work?

All help is appreciated.

Just find an FE5 suspension from a Bonneville GXP. It bolts right on, and is a nice upgrade.

Of course, the trick is finding it. Also be aware that the front struts are apparently unavailable new. I was able to find all the above from a GXP with a claimed 70K miles. The GXP front struts were definitely more solid than the ones that came off, and the rears were better than the new KYBs I had put on the rear right after I got the car. I'm happy.

You can also use polyurethane pieces for the front & rear sway bars. I haven't, yet, but probably will in the future.

That's the simplest route. Poly endlinks are super easy as well. The sway bar mount.bushings aren't too difficult either.

So, the sway bar from a gxp is thicker than the one on a ssei?

IIRC it's either thicker or solid versus hollow tube. It is definitely higher-rate.

IIRC it's both slighter thicker and solid vs hollow for the SLE/SSEi.

IIRC = If I Recall Correctly.

GXP sway bar is the same diameter as the SSEi, but it is solid vs hollow. Mega weight and stiffness difference.
