Looking to replace my L67..Few questions..
What do i need to know about this swap??
Any modifications.. needed parts..other upgrades?
Options in finding a good L32

Any help is greatly appreciated.. my motor had a oil circulation problem Thursday morning, maybe a clogged oil filter. Was making a hell of a noise..did an oil change..its better.. but still alot of noise..no power

Thanks for any help

What do i need to know about this swap?? Not sure what you are asking here, it is a typical swap. Can you be more specific at what you are looking for?

Any modifications.. needed parts..other upgrades? It depends on your budget and how far you want to go. There is SC porting, LIM port matching, cams, headers etc. At a minimum, you will want to use the metal LIM gaskets.

Options in finding a good L32. Look for Grand Prix motors, they wiil swap and are more plentiful. The L32 will work, just search for VIN 4 and 2006 Grand Prix. The biggest difference will be the oil pans.

Youll want the bonneville accessories, oil pan, fuel rails/injectors and a TB adaptor to run either an L67 TB or an LS1/N* throttle body. The vacuum setup is a bit different but as long as youre not doing anything extra like intercooling and whatnot, ytou should be fine with the stock vac harness.

LOTS of Mods
lets just slow down here.

as randy said, you will have to reuse all of your Bonneville Accessories.

oil pan
oil filter adapter
Passenger Side engine mount
Bonneville Tensioner Bracket
L67 Fuel rail
L67 Injectors

you will need a Gen V to TB adapter I would recommend the Northstar because it matches the ID of the SC inlet. You will also need a MAF to go along with this and the LQ4 is the best

you can reuse the EVAP off the Gen V and plug right in your stock connector

you will have to remove the front dog bones off of the W body engine
