Im not sure if any other members have done air bag suspension on a bonneville but I was curious if I did go that route would I be sacrificing any of the ride quality? I just want something that can drop the car about an inch to 2 inches all around for better handling and my opinion a cleaner look but I just wanted to get some feed back on this

I just looked around at some kits and they vary from about 800 bucks to 3,000 haha but if I got that there is no way I could put it in myself

Too much custom fabrication? Are they made for bonnevilles?

Pretty sure there are no kits made for Bonnevilles. Im sure there would be some on this forum.

It'll ride like sht at a lower ride height, have issues with moisture in the lines with sub freezing temps, and will involve fabrication.

I would only want it lowered when I'm parked and only an inch or 2, this is the site that I found some on.

How do cars handle when they are pumped up? Lots of body roll?

You wanting to hall balls and drive it like it's on rails with air struts? I had a 89 B2200 bagged that didn't have any problems, but it wasn't built for speed, just dragging frame (well trailer hitch balls), but that's comparing apples to oranges, the ride with a good air management I wouldn't say it would, assuming you have on board gauges to get you to the right and smooth ride height, you shouldn't have any problems, maybe a little stiff if aired' up all the way and floatie if not aired' to the right psi.

Your air pressure becomes your spring rate. It's possible to meet and exceed your current spring rate with the right pressure. The problem with that is it might net you a higher ride height and you can only be aligned for one ride height.

Also what would I do for the rear air shocks? Can the rear ones be deflated (and not driven on) without hurting them? Anyone know the lowest pressure that the rear air shocks can still be driven on?

I would use these and fabricate them to your rear specs. http://store.gaugemagazine.com/sleave-b ... short.aspx
I wouldn't risk the OE as an aftermarket adjustable air suspension, IIRC there is a type of piston in the rear air sleeve that is use for absorbtion for different road conditions, this could damage the strut and leave you limping and dragging a$$ home if they blow and give out.
