I wanted to get a chip for my 05' bonneville it, but I can't find one anywhere! The first thing I want to do is take off the speed limiter, but I can't find a way to do that.

These cars don't have "chips". You have to have the PCM tuned, which either must be done by a local performance shop, tuner or www.intense-racing.com will custom flash a PCM for you.

It's probably worth checking your local Grand Prix club to see if anyone local tunes. The GPs have the same engine and transmission and the GP and Regal guys usually do more performance stuff to 3800s than your average Bonneville owner. Mail order from Intense or ZZP should be a last resort. I think a lot of club tuners charge less than mail order and they can make the car run faster, more efficient, and be safer about it than a mail order.
