I'm ordering the 1.9:1 high ratio rockers from 3800performance.com, and they have the option to include new bolts and valve cover gaskets.

Can't the bolts be reused? I know for sure I don't need the valve cover gaskets, the one on the car presenty are relatively new and leak free.

Also can someone point me in the direction of a good writeup for the high ratio rockers installation? TIA.

The stock rocker bolts are TTY and should not be re-used.

Just replace the bolts and the gaskets. It seems like when you don't replace stuff like that it comes back to bite you in the butt. Unless you JUST replaced the gaskets in the past month, I'd just replace them.

The factory bolts are absolutely not re-usable. Instead of getting the new GM bolts, I'd get the reusable bolts made by ARP through Intense that don't require a torque angle spec.

Thanks for the answers guys. I will order the Intense bolts, which doesn't come with valve cover gaskets anyways. I did just replace the gaskets around a month ago, I thought they were leaking but they weren't.
