That is a very detailed thread on a Grand Prix RWD conversion. He kept the 3800 and ran a turbo. He has tons of pictures throughout the whole process. It was definantly not easy but very very cool. It took him 3 years to complete the conversion but he didnt work in the winter. There are a few GP's that have done this if you search online. Obviously not the same car but it will give you a good idea as to what is involved. And yes a read drive V8 manual Bonne would be AWSOME. Nothing would be cooler than getting to a light next to another performance car and lighting up the "REAR" tires in one of our cars.

Yeah very cool project. Should be about the same to do the Bonne. There are other detailed threads out there also. Read them all and figure out what works best. Personally I think a IRS would work the best in back. My thought is one from a '99 to '04 Mustang Cobra. It will definantly hold the power and the wheel base size works plus they are attainable. A GTO or G8 set up would work also but seem to cost alot more. Some one also did it with an RX-7 rear end but that seems small. The front almost bolts in using a F-Body crossmember with little fabrication. The rear and tranny/driveshaft tunnel look to be the most work.

We're a little off topic now, yes the post is cool that somebody was crazy enough to go through the conversion.

As it has been stated toward the beginning of the topic it is possible, but a lot of work. The amount of money and time would be better spent on a different car.
