The 2.5" is best for your NA application. I see them listed today on the ZZP site..??

Magnaflow cat flows a bit better, but I have never thought it was worth it to spend an extra $100 on a useless piece of emissions. Others may have differring opinions, but that's my thoughts. If you are going to go 3", go the cheaper route.

I know this is an older sticky but I just have to say that this is an amazing write up for the vehicles.

Pretty good write up I must say. I would like some more info on older generation engines, as I drive an '86 carb'd 3800 that desperately needs power. What are my options?

I am terribly unfamiliar with those engines. Not really sure there has ever been much aftermarket for them.

I didn't expect there to be much. I guess an engine swap would be the only real alternative?

Any ideas? Maybe a carb kit or header-back?

Or drop in a 350 and call it a day?

You won't make any kind of power from that old 3.8, I'm guessing. Easiest way to go about it would be to swap in a 350.

Hope this is the right section to post this question but with the F body brake upgrade on my 2002 SSEI can the stock lines be retained or will I need custom lines made?
