Instead of having just a place for the two pins of the fuse, there are three pin locations. If you put the fuse in using the center and left pin location, it's a power on circuit, if you put the fuse in the center and right pin locations, it's a continuous power circuit which means you can continue charging your phone even when the car is turned off.
It may not be like this of your model.
