Ok it was the coupler. now on to other stuff?what size is the exhaust were it goes into the cat..i have found a d/p with cat it goes from 3"tell it gets to the cat then it is 2.25for the high flow cat then back to 3" with the u bend delete.. will it work for my car? or should i find a full 3" set up?and do stock muffler flow good? i don't wont a loud car... i wont to drop to a 3.6 or 3.5 pulley can i with the d/p ..fwi..and colder plugs and a 180 t-stat..and do i have to have the pcm tuned ..right now i have no KR..

Get a full 3" DP/cat. Your exhaust is only as good as its weakest link, currently that's the U-Bend, and with that setup it would be the cat. If you kept a stock muffler, your exhaust would still be quiet, with just a little more roar at WOT and at cold idle.
