I'm curious to know why you don't want street racing stories posted. I know its dangerous and illegal. But I don't see the problem in writing a story about it, Rather it being real footage on YOUTUBE or any other video site. But I'm new here and there might be more to why you don't want stories posted like that. I love the site anyway and it would be nice to share some of my great stories. In that note those new Hemi's(except SRT-8), Mustang GT's, and rice burners aren't all what they cracked up to be! except they are suppose to be fast. Much love to the new Pontiac Bonneville Club!!!

i think the main reason is they dont want to promote street racing which as you said is dangerous and illegal.

we at one point had Kill stories.... That section of the forum turned into a complete nightmare that cost us so much time that we were continually babysitting that section... And in a lot of cases its all we did, as opposed to managing the site... So when worse came to worse with cross forum flames an more nightmares we kissed that section good bye with a yes Vote at the time from the entire staff.. So thats the reason we don't have a Kill stories anymore

This is also very true and we took that into account when we were deciding weather we were keeping or nixing Kill Stories...

There is also many younger members that join up and look up to all of us. If we all posted about kill stories, that could lead to some younger, inexperienced drivers out there trying to race a big powerfull ( somewhat LOL ) car. That would be bad

I totally agree with everything that has been said already. If stories were posted, they might give other people ideas that they couldn't have thought of on their own. Very bad thing in some cases. It's the whole, "out of sight, out of mind" thing. If nobody talks about it, less people are likely to do it. If you seriously want to race, take it to the track where there are regulation and safety personnel for worst case scenarios.

A kill, in this context, is winning a race. Not the kill you are thinking of, although that is a part of street racing as well.
